The Finance Minister underscores the Strength of Bahraini-Kuwaiti Relations
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, has emphasized the enduring bonds between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, which continue to flourish, thanks to the unwavering dedication of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait.
The minister commended the diligent efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, in enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination to advance the shared interests of both nations and their people.
This declaration was made during a meeting between the Minister of Finance and National Economy and Fahd Abdulaziz Al Jarallah, the Minister of Finance of Kuwait, on the sidelines of their participation in the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), currently being held in Marrakech, Morocco.
The two ministers discussed the strong and fraternal Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, along with strategies to expand financial and economic collaboration to realize mutual goals.
Furthermore, they evaluated the outcomes of the 2023 annual WBG-IMF meetings and engaged in a conversation about the most recent developments in the global economy.
