Interior Minister Attends Southern Governorate Forum for Investment Development
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, participated in the third edition of the Southern Governorate Forum for Investment Development, held under the theme "Toward Sustainable Community."
The primary objective of the forum was to delve into significant development projects within the Southern Governorate and foster partnerships with the private sector. It also aimed to attract potential investors seeking investment opportunities in the region.
Minister Al Khalifa reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment to safety and security, which is led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the strong support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He emphasized that security serves as the cornerstone for investment projects and the pursuit of sustainable development goals outlined in the government's action plan. Bahrain's flexible legislation, designed to support the national economy, makes it an attractive destination for both local and foreign investments, noted Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah.
His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa emphasized the Southern Governorate's dedication to implementing the directives of His Majesty the King, engaging with residents, and delivering top-notch services to achieve comprehensive development. He also praised the ongoing support provided by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Furthermore, he underscored the critical role of technology in achieving sustainable development and progress. The Southern Governorate has adopted a strategy of constant communication with the public and has implemented electronic plans to monitor the people's needs effectively.
The Minister also commended the contributions of real estate companies in advancing public utilities and launching essential projects to promote tourism and investment across all corners of the district.
