Qatar is set to make a strong impression at MIPIM 2025, the prestigious international real estate event in Cannes, France, as Invest Qatar and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) lead a delegation showcasing the country’s thriving property sector and investment potential.
With an expanding real estate market, Qatar’s participation at MIPIM 2025 aims to attract global investors by highlighting its stable economy, world-class infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies. The Qatar pavilion will bring together key industry players, including United Development Company (UDC) and Qetaifan Projects, fostering international collaborations and investment opportunities.
A Strategic Platform for Growth
The real estate sector in Qatar continues to expand, bolstered by government-backed initiatives and a robust regulatory framework. Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al-Thani, CEO of Invest Qatar, emphasized the significance of MIPIM as a platform to engage with international investors and showcase Qatar’s 4.1% projected annual growth in real estate by 2028.
"With a stable economic environment and progressive investment policies, Qatar offers lucrative opportunities for international investors looking for long-term growth," he stated.
Aqarat chairman, Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidli, echoed this sentiment, stressing that the event provides a unique chance to present Qatar as a high-growth market with transparent regulations and strong government support.
Transformative Projects and Sustainable Development
Qatar’s real estate landscape is evolving rapidly, with landmark projects like The Pearl and Gewan Islands setting new standards in urban development. UDC’s President and CEO, Yasser Salah Al-Jaidah, highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, positioning Qatar as a hub for modern, high-end real estate ventures.
Likewise, Sheikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, chairman and managing director of Qetaifan Projects, reinforced Qatar’s vision for a well-regulated and dynamic property market. The Real Estate Regulatory Authority strategy, introduced in December 2024, further enhances investor confidence by ensuring market transparency and long-term stability.
With a focus on sustainable growth and foreign investment, Qatar’s presence at MIPIM 2025 signals its commitment to becoming a global real estate powerhouse, offering unparalleled opportunities in one of the fastest-growing markets in the region.
