EL AL Welcomes Its Fourth 787-8 Dreamliner and Inaugurates Its First SAF-Powered Flight
The newest addition to EL AL's Dreamliner fleet, named "Nof HaGalil," has joined the ranks, expanding EL AL's Dreamliner fleet to a total of 16 aircraft, including twelve 787-9s and four 787-8s.
This aircraft offers three service classes: Business, Premium, and Economy, and will operate on long-haul flights to North America, Europe, and the Far East.
For its inaugural journey, the aircraft was welcomed on Tuesday, August 1st, with a traditional "water salute" ceremony at Ben Gurion Airport after a direct flight from Boeing's factories in Seattle to Tel Aviv.
First EL AL Flight Operated with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
