Venice, September 11th, 2023 - The 80th Venice Film Festival, also known as La Mostra, witnessed the dazzling presence of the Better World Fund (BWF) during its proceedings on the 7th and 8th of September, 2023. Over 300 attendees graced the Ca' Sagredo Hotel and La Scuola Grande Della Misericordia di Venezia, including distinguished luminaries such as Isabelle Huppert, Jeremy Piven, Euzhan Palcy, Tom Volf, Keira Chaplin, Nadia Farès, Elisabeth Moreno, Joyce El-Khoury, and many more. Their united mission: to advocate for "Women Empowerment" through the powerful medium of Cinematic Art, all for the betterment of humanity.
Since its inception in 2016, the Better World Fund, a Paris-based non-profit organization, has been orchestrating prestigious international events and inspiring cultural initiatives through concrete actions. This year, once again, the exquisite venues of the Ca' Sagredo Hotel and the Misericordia di Venezia served as a platform for influential figures from around the globe. They came together with a shared aspiration to shape a brighter future for our society.
