HRH the Deputy King Meets Newly Appointed French Ambassador to Bahrain
Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King, held a meeting with the recently appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Eric Giraud-Telme, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasized the strength of the Bahrain-France relationship, which continues to thrive through collaboration across various sectors. He stressed the importance of enhancing this bilateral partnership at all levels to achieve common goals that benefit both nations.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Ambassador and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure in his diplomatic role.
The discussions during the meeting also touched upon matters of mutual interest, as well as regional and international developments. In this context, HRH the Deputy King acknowledged France's significant global influence, recognizing its crucial role, in collaboration with its allied nations, in preserving regional and global stability and security, which are vital for economic development.
In response, HE Giraud-Telme expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and he acknowledged HRH's dedication to strengthening bilateral relations to achieve shared aspirations.
The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, was also present at the meeting.
