HH Shaikh Nasser Visits 'Beban' Studio
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who serves as the Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, recently paid a visit to the studio of the third season of the reality television show 'Beban,' which revolves around entrepreneurs. The show is produced by Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund.
During his visit to the studio, His Highness had the opportunity to witness a pitch for a Bahraini project. The studio is located at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Ayman bin Tawfeeq Al Moayyed, the Chairman of the Hope Fund, expressed his gratitude to His Highness for his unwavering support, which played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful outcome of 'Beban.'
'Beban' is a unique investment platform in the region, as it fosters collaboration between the public and private sectors. This partnership involves entities such as the Labour Fund "Tamkeen," Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development in the UAE, Sabah Al Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity in Kuwait, Zain Kuwait, the SME Development Authority in Oman, and GFH Capital in Saudi Arabia.
The upcoming season of the program, set to air in January 2024, will extend its coverage to more countries.
'Beban' is centered around entrepreneurs and business owners who present their business concepts to a panel of regional investors, with the goal of securing equity investment and exploring new business opportunities.
