SCH Chairman Inaugurates First Bahraini Psychiatry Conference
Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), officially opened the inaugural Bahrain Psychiatry Conference.
Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Governmental Hospitals, and Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of Government Hospitals, were in attendance.
He emphasized that hosting this event exemplifies Bahrain's prominent status in organizing prominent medical conferences for the exchange of expertise.
The conference featured participation from twenty-eight speakers hailing from the GCC and Egypt, and more than 30 research papers on psychiatry were presented.
