Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Highlights Progress in Al Batinah Coastal Road Compensation

In a recent statement, His Excellency, Dr. the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, underscored the significant progress made in compensating citizens affected by the Al Batinah Coastal Road project in the North Al Batinah Governorate. The compensation program, aimed at mitigating the impact of this ambitious infrastructure project on local residents, has achieved noteworthy milestones.

The minister revealed that the general completion rate for cash compensations disbursed to affected citizens has reached an impressive 90.4%. This means that a substantial portion of those who have been affected by the project have already received their cash compensations, demonstrating the government's commitment to supporting its citizens during times of change and development.

Furthermore, the progress in in-kind compensations has also been substantial, with a remarkable completion rate of 93.2%. In-kind compensations play a crucial role in ensuring that affected individuals and communities are adequately supported during the execution of major infrastructure projects like the Al Batinah Coastal Road.

The Al Batinah Coastal Road project is a vital part of the region's development, and it's heartening to see the government's dedication to ensuring that the affected citizens are fairly compensated for the disruptions caused by the project's construction. This commitment not only reflects the government's responsibility towards its people but also fosters a sense of trust and partnership between the government and its citizens.

As the project continues to progress, it is expected that the completion rates for both cash and in-kind compensations will reach even higher percentages. The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning's announcement serves as a positive indicator of the government's determination to create a more prosperous and harmonious future for the North Al Batinah Governorate.
