The Longines Global Champions Tour - Jumping International de Monte-Carlo witnessed a thrilling showcase of skill and determination, culminating in a triumphant victory for the Cannes Stars team on Friday. German rider Sophie Hinners and Dutch rider Kim Emmen delivered flawless performances to secure the GCL title, marking their third win of the season following earlier successes in Doha and Saint-Tropez.

Facing stiff competition from the Prague Lions, who set an impressive standard with faultless rounds earlier in the day, Hinners and Emmen rode with precision and speed, clinching victory without a single fault. "The Prague Lions had put pressure on us," commented Sophie Hinners. "We knew we had to be fast and take calculated risks. I'm incredibly proud of my horses and grateful for my team's support."

Kim Emmen echoed her teammate's sentiments, emphasizing the importance of their strategy and teamwork. "Sophie set a fantastic pace, which allowed me to focus on maintaining a clear round. It's a great reward for our team spirit."

In the individual competitions, French rider Simon Delestre stood out with his speedy round aboard Dexter Fontenis Z, claiming the top spot among thirteen faultless performances. The evening also saw impressive rides from riders like Emanuele Gaudiano and Jeanne Sadran, highlighting the event's high caliber.

Earlier in the day, the CSI2* events showcased emerging talents, including young Monégasque riders Romane Seret and Ilana Palmaro, who displayed promising performances in their respective classes.

The stage is set for the Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco on Saturday, where top riders including defending champion Julien Épaillard will vie for €1.5 million in prize money. With competitors like Max Kühner and Jeanne Sadran in top form, the competition promises a thrilling conclusion to this prestigious event.
